Garbha Sanskaar: A Guide to Positive Pregnancy Experience

Pregnancy brings an overwhelming mix of emotions- hope, happiness, joy.

It is a rollercoaster ride that begins with the first moment when life inside you starts taking shape.

Maintaining a positive attitude and keeping stress at bay during pregnancy can lead to the birth of an intelligent baby. You can keep yourself relaxed while carrying your child with meditation techniques and exercises.

Ayurveda and Yoga are not just about asanas, medicines, and breathing techniques, but a healthy living style. The Four Pillars of this lifestyle are AHAR (food), VIHAR (recreation), ACHAR (routines), and VICHAR (thoughts). Eating a balanced diet, and chanting Mantras, or Shloka–all methods scientifically proven to help improve the mental and physical health of mothers-to-be.

On Mother’s Day, we were honored to get three amazing speakers on our platform who enlightened us with their different expertise on Garbh Sanskar- Chitra Ganesh, Dr. Shweta Labde, and Kadambari Ravi.

Chitra Ganesh

The first speaker we had was Chitra Ganesh ma’am, she is a Viniyoga teacher and Vedic Chant Teacher in the tradition of T Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. Her passion includes the Yogasūtras of Patañjali, the Bhagavad Gita, and Vedic Chanting.
Her session was based on ŚraddhāSūktam – Śraddhā Sūktam Mantras are a powerful tool for healing and spiritual growth. Chanting mantras release the positive energies that clears your mind of the worries and stresses. It increases good thoughts (VICHAR). Chanting Mantra has been proven to be a valuable recreation (VIHAR) for pregnant women. It creates a high vibration, a sacred sound, and a deep sense of love for yourself and your child who is yet to born.

Our second speaker Dr.Shweta Labde has beautifully took us through the Ayurveda way of Garbh Sanskar!
